Posted by Jennifer Billy on January 18, 2010
I went to Walgreens and CVS yesterday. After coupons, Register Rewards, Extra Bucks and gift cards I only paid $4.88 with tax out out of pocket. Here is all I got and how I did it:

Transaction #1
(2) Neosporin Lip Health 2/$8 sale
(2) Wet Ones Antibacterial Wipes 2/$4 sale
Total: $12
Used two $3 coupons for Neosporin Lip Health
Used two $1.50 coupons for Wet Wipes
Final Price: $3 ($3.61 with tax)
Got $4 Register Reward
Transaction #2
Plastic Straws $.99
(2) boxes of birthday cards 2/$3
Total: $3.99
Used $3 Register Rewards
Final price: $.99 ($1.27 with tax)
Still have $1 Register Reward to roll till next week.
* I thought the straws were $1 and that the total would be $4 so I would be able to use the other $1 RR. But I still stayed under $5 and now have a $1 to use next week.
Total Out Of pocket: $3.99 ($4.88 with tax)
Total Savings: $16.96

Thanks! You can not go wrong with chocolate. I was going to stock up on paper towels and toilet paper, but after seeing all the cute Valentine’s stuff I couldn’t resist!
