I was excited to give the Tropical Slash a try. It is amazing! The Tropical Splash is now my favorite scent. You may recall that I recently did a review on Rock ‘N Learn’s DVD Sight Words. Well, Rock ‘N Learn has given me another opportunity to do a review on another one of their new releases, Letter Sounds. After the response I got from my daughter on the last DVD, I quickly agreed.
The Letter Sounds DVD teaches the most common sounds that the letters make in a fun and energetic way. As soon as the DVD arrived, Emma grabbed it and ran to her room to watch. She actually watched it 2 or 3 times before I had the chance to sit down with her. By that time I was pretty amazed at how much she had already learned. The DVD really catches the kids attention with the fun characters and songs. My 1 year old actually jumped on the bed when it started and it held his attention for quiet some time which is really out of the norm for him. He watched Emma with amazement as she sang along to the alphabet song. He was even able to repeat some of the letter sounds after listening to Emma.
Rock ‘N Learn has an extremely successful way of getting kids to enjoy learning. I am really amazed at how Emma will sit through all the lessons without getting bored or it loosing her attention. I can even see her pride as she starts sounding out words and getting the answers right. Instead of getting frustrated like she tends to do when getting things wrong, she was instead encouraged to keep trying. We did have a mostly positive experience from the last DVD, however after getting this one I am now a huge fan of Rock ‘N Learn! I will definitely be getting more products for my kids.
