Make Money Reading E-mails

If you are looking to make money from home, there are many different ways to do it. The one thing that they all have in common is that none of them are going to make you rich. However, you may be able to make some extra money by using multiple sources.

I have already touched upon completing surveys using cash back sites and mystery shopping. So far this year I have cashed out $213.47 between these three sources.

Last week I started to talk about Reward Sites and how you can make money by searching the web. Another way you can make money with Reward Sites is by reading e-mails. If you opt in to receive their e-mails, some sites will pay you a few cents for opening the e-mail and clicking to confirm you read it. It may not be a lot of money, but for a few seconds of your time it can add up.

My top 3 sites to make money by reading e-mails-

1. MyPoints- Earn 5 points for each e-mail that you clickthru. You can then earn more points if you take advantage of the offer.

You can use your points to get gift cards, including Paypal. I normally save my points all year and then use them to get gift cards for Christmas gifts. I am usually able to get at least one $25 gift card a year just by doing searches and reading e-mails.

2. SendEarnings- Earn $.02 by clicking to confirm you read e-mail. You can then earn more by completing offer.

Make Money Searching the Web

Make Money As A Mystery Shopper

Making extra money from home is going to involve multiple streams of income. None of the companies I have mentioned so far is going to make you rich, but if you have multiple sources of money coming in, they can really add up.

We have already touched upon completing surveys and using cash back sites. Today I want to talk about mystery shopping. There are a lot of sites that will ask you to pay them a fee and they will provide you with companies. This is not necessary. Just like survey companies, you do not need to pay to get signed up.

I have joined a few companies, but dsg associates has been the only one that I have actually done work for and got paid. Last month I complete an assignment by getting an issuance quote over the phone for $10. It was a very simple assignment and dsg was very helpful and made the process easy. I also like that you can call at any time to speak to someone if you have questions.

Dsg associates will e-mail or call you with possible assignments. You only accept what you want. You can also call at any time to see if there is anything that you may qualify for.

Dsg associates are currently looking for new shoppers. If you are interested in mystery shopping, this is a company I would recommend joining. Here is how to join-

Make Money Shopping Online With Cash Back Sites

I have spent a lot of time talking about how you can make money from home by completing surveys. You may not get rich from them, but I think I have shown that they are worth the time to complete them. So far this year I have made $127.26 from completed surveys and have cashed out $86.90.

To really make an impact on how much money you make, you really need to have multiple income sources. Now that you have a list of 10 different survey companies to join(check sidebar for list), I want to move onto Cash Back sites.

I frequently add cash back sites to my online deal posts. If you are not familiar with these sites then let me explain. Instead of going directly to a retail website to make an online purchase, you will first go to one of these cash back sites. I have a few sites I use regularly, so I will check each one by doing a search of the store I am wanting to make a purchase from. Once I find the site that offers the most cash back on my purchase, I will click through to the store site and shop as normal. The only difference is that I will receive a percentage back from the cash back site.

Why do they do this?

Well they are receiving a commission by you using their link to shop at these stores. They are just sharing a percentage back to you on what they are making. So it really is a win-win.

Another way to make money from these sites is by referring others to use them also. Some will pay you $5 when your referrer makes their first purchase and others will pay you a percentage of your referrers cash back.

Here is a list of my favorite sites:

ShopAtHome- You will receive $5 for joining and also another $5 for everyone you refer once they make their first purchase. You will receive a check once your account reaches $20. Checks are mailed on a monthly schedule.

I have made $35.73 so far this year and a total of $145.98 from ShopAtHome since joining 2 years ago.

Mr. Rebates- You will receive $5 for joining and also 20% of all your referrals cash back. You can request a check or payment through PayPal once your available rebates hit $10. Payments will be sent on the first of the month.

I have made $88.41 so far this year and a total of $299.22 from Mr. Rebates since joining 2 years ago.

BigCrumbs- This is the only site that offers a cash back on your purchases at Ebay. If you sell on Ebay, you can also list your store on BigCrumbs to increase your exposure. Not only will you receive a percentage of your referrals purchases but will also receive a percentage of their referrals purchases. You will receive a payment every month your account is over $1 through PayPal or on a BigCrumbs Prepaid Mastercard.

I have made $.38 so far this year and a total of $2.04 since joining BigCrumbs 2 years ago.

Ebates- You will receive $5 when you make your first purchase and also $5 for each new qualified referral. You will receive payment once you have earned over $5.01 from purchases. Payments are sent out every 3 months by PayPal or check.

I have made $12.38 so far this year from Ebates.

Cash Back for the Year- $136.90

Since most of these sites have a threshold before you will receive a payment, I would reccomend only using a couple. That way you will not have a small amount of money in a lot of accounts and will receive a payment quicker.

Making Money- February Stats!

I have been inspired by Andrea over at CentsSaved to make a consistent effort to make some extra money on-line. I have mentioned earlier this year that I had a goal to have a 3 month emergency fund put away by the end of the year in an ING DIRECT account. Well I am going to help fund this through the extra money I make on-line.

I am going to aim for $1500 this year. So that means I will have to make $125 a month. I am also going to work at having $250 in gift cards to use towards gifts.

Get Paid To Visit Your Favorite Sites

BeRuby is a new site that I just recently signed up for. You will not get rich with it but you can make some extra money for just visiting sites that you normally do throughout the day. You can also make a little more money by registering with certain sites or making purchases through BeRuby.

BeRuby is Free to join. After you sign up you can add sites that you visit often to your favorites. Some of the sites I have added is Gmail, Hotmail, Facebook, YouTube and Twitter. So everyday I will log into BeRuby and check all my accounts. I will usually make about $.05 a day just for visiting the sites I normally do. It may not seem like a lot but those nickles can add up in a year.

You can request a payment through PayPal or Alert Pay once your account reaches $10. I like to use all the extra money I make through out the year to pay for all my couponing expenses like newspapers, magazines and organizational tools. BeRuby is another way for me to cover all those expenses and also help me come out ahead.

Money’s Not Made or Lost… It’s Just Transferred

If saving money is not enough and you are interested in making some extra money from home then before you do anything I would highly recommend that you talk with my good friend Kaleem-Ullah Abdullah. He is an amazing coach and mentor and shares all he has learned on his blog RealMLMLife. He was kind enough to share the following article with me.

As hard as you may try, you will never be able to make any money. Even if you could, it would be illegal; only the government makes money. The rest of us can just get it and move it around.

The good news is you can also never lose money. If you don’t have it, rest assured that someone else does.

But you can actually get all you want, even more than you want, if you know how to do it. Oprah and Trump know, and they use their knowledge to make themselves billionaires.

Do you know the 7 things that EVERYBODY wants? If you can find a way to give people at least one of these seven things, you can get as much money as you desire:

more money
less work
more fun/sex/adventure
less weight
more success
less stress
more love

There are people who have all the money they want to spend. If you want to get rich, give people with money something to spend it on. The secret is that they must get MORE than they pay for.

Establish the value of what you have up front. Then offer it to people in a way that gives them more value for their money; more than the dollar amount they actually spend. If this also provides profit for you, what you have is a “win-win” situation!
