Making Money With Surveys- LightSpeed

Every week I am going to introduce you to a new survey site that I am currently participating in and feel is a good company.To find out how to get started with surveys go HERE.

This week I am going to talk about LightSpeed Consumer Panel. This is one of my favorite sites. I have already cashed in $15 through LightSpeed and currently have 725 points. Plus I have four surveys waiting for me to take.

You can normally get 75 to 300 points for completing a survey. LightSpeed pays out in gifts, gift cards or paypal. You can get a $5 gift card for 550 points or $5 paypal for 575 points. They do have tons of gift cards to choose from, Amazon, CVS, Applebees just to name a few.

Making Money With Surveys- SurveySpot

Doing online surveys is a great way to make a little extra money from home. You will not get rich from this but I feel that if you find the right companies they can be worth your time.

I have made $44 from surveys over the last few months. It has taken me a while to figure out which companies are good and which ones are a waste of time. I try to spend about 30 min to an hour a couple times a week completing surveys. My goal for 2010 is to make $250 on surveys.

I try to stick with survey companies that pay in cash or gift cards. I also usually only do offers that are for actual points or money and stay away from the ones that are for an entry into a drawing. It is also important to sign up to multiple companies so that you will always have a surplus of surveys to take. I am currently signed up with 10 different companies.

I am going to introduce you to all of my favorite companies. I will do a post a week with a new one that I feel is worth signing up to.

The first thing you are going to want to do is set up a separate e-mail just for surveys. That way you will not fill your regular e-mail with all the surveys you will be receiving. Plus when you are ready to complete some of the surveys they will all be in one place for you to begin going through them.

You also will need to sign up for paypal if you do not already have an account. It is the easiest way to get paid plus some of the companies will only pay through paypal.

The first company I am going to talk about is SurveySpot. The reason I feel you should sign up with SurveySpot first is because they are offering 50 points every time you qualify and complete a survey through out the month of January.

SurveySpot pays out through paypal once you have at least 1000 points.

My Review on Nielsen Homescan

There are still openings in the Nielsen Homescan Consumer Panel. I was accepted into this program in August. I received my scanner two months ago. The way it works is that I need to scan all purchases that I make. I was surprised to find out that it really does not take me too long to do this. Some stores are quicker then others because I do not have to enter prices for each item. So my large grocery shopping trips I just scan the item and enter coupons as I put them away.

In addition to earning points every week for transmitting my purchases, I can get bonus points each month if done on time. I have also received a few surveys to fill out for even more points.

In two months I have accumulated 4,450 points. That is about half way in qualifying for any prizes. Prizes range from 9,000 to 315,000. I have accumulated points quicker then I thought I would. I have also just joined Nielsen’s Homescan Online Panel and will be receiving 2,000 points for that and then an additional 1,000 points every 6 months. All I had to do for that was download software onto my computer.

I am personally enjoying the program so far. I was worried about it taking too much time but it really has not been bad. I am going to continue with this program and hopefully by next Christmas I can use the points for some great gifts.

Nielson Homescan- Make Your Opinion Count

AC Nielsen is the world’s largest market research company. You can make your opinions count as a member of the Homescan Consumer Panel and earn valuable gift points, which are redeemable for electronics, household items, jewelry, toys and more.

I tried joining Nielsen Homescan a while back and was put on a waiting list. Well I have just been accepted and received my scanner yesterday. I will be scanning all my purchases and transmitting it once a week. I will earn points for doing this and even bonus points for doing it on time every week.

I am not sure if this will be worth my time yet or not. If anyone has done this before please let me know your opinion.

Lightspeed- Earn Money Taking Surveys

I have recently joined Lightspeed Consumer Panel. They are a legit survey company that you can earn points by taking their surveys. By taking the time to participate in Lightspeed Panel surveys, you have the power to let companies know exactly what you think. This helps you, the consumer, develop and improve products and services offered.

You can then redeem your points for gift cards or prizes. An average survey takes about 30 minutes. If you qualify you can earn 75 to 300 points. I have taken three surveys so far in the last two weeks and already have 525 points. I will be eligible for a $5 gift card when I reach 550 points or $5 cash at 575 points.

You are not going to supplement your income by doing these surveys, but if you have some extra time to participate you can get some cool prizes out of it.
