I was recently given the opportunity to do a review for Calypso Studios. Calypso Studios started in January 2007 with a line of jewelry and accessories created from the earth’s natural elements: clay, shell, and glass. Their goal was to produce affordable products which they have succeeded to do while creating beautiful, unique pieces.

I received several products from Calypso, my favorite being the Red Giraffe Clay Wrap Bracelet from the It’s A Wrap Collection. This 24in. wrappable bracelet with clay beads and waxed linen cording is beautifully made. I really love the color of the beads. It is hard to believe after seeing the quality of this bracelet that it is only $20. I have to add that my 4 year old daughter, who loves to steal my jewelry, was also very excited to see that she could wrap it around an extra time to fit her perfectly!

I also received some pieces from the IMPULSE Collection. The pieces are handcrafted from Kaolin Clay and are bright and colorful. The collection includes rings, bracelets, necklaces and key chains ranging from $2 to $8. This collection is a lot of fun and would be perfect to give as gifts to babysitters or in gift bags.

Another collection that has really caught my attention is the Expressions Collection. There are a few pieces that I will be ordering, including the Forever/Mom/Love Bracelet and the Daughter/Forever/Love Bracelet. I also think the Girls Night Out Bracelet or Key Chain would be a really cute gift to give your girl friends.

Needless to say I am really in love with Calypso Studios. Their pieces are beautiful, well crafted and extremely affordable. Calypso Studios is also very generous because they are going to giveaway one of their Clay Wrap Bracelets to one lucky follower!
