My house has been anxiously awaiting the release of the new Tinker Bell movie “Tinker Bell and the Lost Treasure”. The movie finally goes on sale this Tuesday, October 27th. I decided not to pre-order the movie because I was waiting to see what deals I could find.
It looks like Toys R Us has the Blu-ray DVD combo pack on sale for the lowest price of $21.99. If anyone has found it cheaper please let me know. They are also giving away a free Fairies Lantern ($12.99 value) with any Disney Fairies purchase of $40 or more.
Now Target and Walmart both price match so if it is more convenient to go to either one of those stores just bring in the Toys R Us ad. Also if you are going to Target make sure to bring your reusable shopping bags because they will credit you $.05 per bag.
Here are the deals that I have found on this movie:
1. Print the $10 off coupon for Tinker Bell and the Lost Treasure on Blu-ray. This will work for the combo pack. Can be printed two times.
2. Receive a $5 Mail-In Rebate when you purchase Tinker Bell and the Lost Treasure and two Kernel Seasons products. Use two $1 off coupons for Kernel Seasons.
3. Receive $5 Mail-In Rebate when you purchase Tinker Bell and the Lost Treasure and any Tinker Bell book or game from LeapFrog. If you took advantage of the Leapfrog deals last month you may already have the book like I do. If not you can print $3 off coupon for Tag books, $4 off coupon for Leapster Games or $5 off for Didj Games by going HERE.
4. Get a free Tinker Bell Bag from Disney Movie Rewards by entering the code TinkFan. All you have to pay is $3.25 for shipping. Also make sure to enter your code from the movie. You will receive 125 points for the Blu-ray. If you are not a member of the Disney Movie Rewards and would like to give me 20 points then just send me your e-mail and I will send you an invitation to join.

So you will be paying $11.99 out of pocket for the movie and then possibly receive $10 back in rebates making the total $1.99.
Update: I just talked with Best Buy and they will also price match. In addition they are offering $8 off if you purchase one of the 5 selected Disney Blu-ray discs. So if you have not gotten the Snow White movie yet then you could also purchase that and use the $10 coupon that is still available to print when you upgrade to Blu-ray. So you will be getting both movies for $14.98. You will also receive Tinker Bell’s The Essential Guide with your Tinker Bell and the Lost Treasure purchase.
You can also receive a $5 Rebate when you purchase Snow White and a Hefty Product. That is a total of $15 in rebates, which would make both movies free.
Just so you know, the combo Blu-ray pack does include the whole movie on DVD as well as Blu-ray. So you could still take advantage of this deal even if you do not own a Blu-ray.
