I have mentioned before that I really like using Outright for tracking my business expenses and recording my income. This free bookkeeping system also will calculate your taxes for the year. That way you will be able to put aside money if needed when you file your taxes.
Keeping track of your business is a necessity and Outright really makes it easier. They have now also added the feature of adding your credit cards and PayPal accounts so any transactions will be automatically added.
I have also found another great use for Outright. I have added an additional account to track my savings for the year. I set up categories under income as:
Clipped Coupons
Online Promo Codes
Grocery Savings
Sale Shopping
Restaurant Coupons
Rebates
Reward Sites (Cash Back)
Gift Cards
Surveys
Under expenses I have includes newspaper & magazine (All You) subscriptions and entertainment book. You would also include any paid memberships that you have signed up for the help you save money.
Outright will calculate your total savings for the year and also give you a graph showing what areas you are saving the most money. This is a great way to be able to clearly see what is working for you and were you could use some improvement.
I wish I had started using this at the beginning of the year. I did track my savings back to June and so far have save over $2,000. If you would like to sign up for a free account and start tracking your savings or your business expenses just go to Outright to get started.
